Minerva Carrizales, 89, of Pearsall, died on October 19, 2024 with her family by her side. She was born on January 19, 1935 to parents Francisco and Maria Vinton Robledo and lived in Pearsall all her life.

She is preceded in death by her husband Filiberto A. Carrizales, daughter Marcella Cruz, and brother Manuel Robledo (Adelita).

Minerva is survived by daughters Mary Jane Luna (Ramon), daughter Yomeida Carrizales (Bradley), son-in-law Robert Cruz, grandchildren April Sandifer, Ramon F. Luna III (Anita), Aqueida Gonzalez, Christina Yanez (Mario), Marcello Gonzalez (Amber), Fillip Woodard, Marcus Woodard, Justin Woodard, Sophia Woodard, and 13 great-grandchildren, brother Frank Robledo Jr. (Maria), brother Roberto Robledo (Lucia), brother Alfredo Robledo (Leticia) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30 from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. with a Rosary recited at 8:45 a.m. at Primrose Funeral Services in Pearsall.

Mass was held on Wednesday, October 30 at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment followed at the Catholic East Cemetery in Pearsall.

Funeral arrangements were under the care of Primrose Funeral Services, Pearsall.
