Meet and greet

Pearsall city officials, the mayor, councilors, school board members and other local officials were in attendance for a formal introductory event on Thursday, May 15, as Pearsall ISD presented new district Superintendent Dr. Jody Spoor. The event featured a catered meal and those in attendance heard from Pearsall Mayor Ben Briscoe and city manager Fred Reyes as they briefed the crowd on progress in the community before introducing Dr. Spoor. The new superintendent provided a history of her schooling and career to date and shared her excitement in working with school staff and administration at PISD.
