La Salle County Sheriff Hector Ramirez and his administration will host a town hall meeting at 5 p.m. Thursday, September 25, in the AB Alexander Convention Center on the IH-35 access road in Cotulla, welcoming input from local landowners over ongoing concerns.
The meeting is open to the general public and is aimed at covering topics from changes in state policy and legislative updates to security and trespassing issues, and includes an open forum for questions.
“We are looking to strengthen communication between landowners and law enforcement,” the sheriff said this week. “Participation is welcome. We aim to build a stronger partnership to protect landowners’ rights, their land and their community.”
All those planning to attend should contact the sheriff’s office at (830) 483-0246 or email the chief deputy at [email protected] by Sept. 19, to help organizers plan for capacity.
