COUNTY ARRESTS
Fifteen individuals were arrested in La Salle County over the past two weeks on a range of felony and misdemeanor charges and on warrants issued locally and in other jurisdictions.
Arrests were made by deputies of the La Salle County Sheriff’s Office and troopers of the Texas Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol.
In addition to those serving commitment by order of the courts (details previously published), those taken into custody between Monday, November 24, and Sunday, December 7, with arrest times logged at booking in the La Salle County Jail, were as follows:
Lisandro Vazquez-Gonzalez, 23, of Austin; arrested 1:12 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, by the Sheriff’s Office; state fail felony possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 2, warrant issued by La Salle County Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace for misdemeanor violating a promise to appear in court, warrant issued by Pct. 2 JP for driving without a license; released on bond after 22 hours.
Anthony Paul Mendoza, 22, of San Antonio; arrested 1:56 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, by the Sheriff’s Office; warrant issued in La Salle District Court for failure to appear in court on third-degree felony possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 1/1b; court-ordered release after eight days.
Alexis Marie Gonzalez, 29, of Cotulla; arrested 12:40 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 27, by the Texas DPS; Class B misdemeanor driving while intoxicated; released on bond after nine hours.
Jose Lopez III, 22, of Crystal City, Texas; arrested 1:26 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 27, by the Texas DPS; Class B misdemeanor possession of marijuana; released on bond after one day.
Jarrett Lynn Kay, 28, of Brenham, Texas; arrested 2:50 a.m. Friday, Nov. 28, by the Sheriff’s Office; misdemeanor assault; released on bond after nine hours.
Cesar Andres Castillon Jr., 20, of Cotulla; arrested 3:15 a.m. Friday, Nov. 28, by the Sheriff’s Office; misdemeanor disorderly conduct; released on bond after nine hours.
Hunter Sage McClain, 24, of Bigfoot; arrested 2:55 a.m. Friday, Nov. 28, by the Sheriff’s Office; misdemeanor assault; released on bond after nine hours.
Isaac Robert Inclan Jr., 48, of Cotulla; arrested 12:54 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, by the Texas DPS; state jail felony possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 1/1b; released on bond after two days, eleven hours.
Jeremy Pena, 22, of Corpus Christi, Texas; arrested 3:33 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, by the Texas DPS; third-degree felony possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 2, Class B misdemeanor possession of marijuana; remained in jail Monday, December 8.
Norberto Rosales, 25, of Cotulla; arrested 1:59 a.m. Monday, Dec. 1, by the Sheriff’s Office; Class B misdemeanor criminal trespass, Class A misdemeanor assault causing bodily injury; released on bond after 14 hours.
Isaac Sada, 20, of Cotulla; arrested 2:02 a.m. Monday, Dec. 1, by the Sheriff’s Office; Class B misdemeanor criminal trespass; remained in jail Monday, Dec. 8.
Michael Javier Trevino, 62, of Laredo; arrested 7:50 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, by the Sheriff’s Office; warrant issued in La Salle District Court for failure to appear in court on state jail felony unauthorized use of a motor vehicle; released after three days, 16 hours.
Kendall Renae Younger, 32, of Cotulla; arrested 1:46 a.m. Friday, Dec. 5, by the Sheriff’s Office; warrant issued in Bexar County for Class B misdemeanor driving while license is not valid (with prior conviction), failing to maintain financial responsibility; released on bond after eight hours.
Esteban Rene Lozano, 46, of Laredo; arrested 10:34 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, by the Sheriff’s Office; warrant issued in La Salle County Court for failure to appear in court on charge of assault causing bodily injury to a family member; released on bond after 14 hours.
Francisco Aleja Duarte-Paulino, 45, of Laredo; arrested 11:10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, by the Texas DPS; warrant issued in Live Oak County for failure to appear in court on Class B misdemeanor bail jumping on a charge of driving under the influence; remained in jail Monday, Dec. 8.
