COUNTY ARRESTS

Nineteen individuals were arrested in Frio County between Monday, February 23, and Sunday, March 8, on a range of felony and misdemeanor charges.

Arrests were made by deputies of the Frio County Sheriff’s Office, troopers of the Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol, and officers of the Pearsall Police Department.

In addition to those being held on warrants issued in other jurisdictions, suspects taken into custody with arrest times logged at booking in the Frio County Jail were as follows:

Tony Tobias Gonzalez, of Pearsall, DOB 08/10/2006, arrested Monday, February 23, 8:23 a.m., warrant – failure to appear, possession of marijuana; warrant – failure to appear, possession of a controlled substance; warrant – failure to appear, unlawfully carrying a weapon; warrant – failure to appear, resisting arrest, search or transport; warrant – two counts, failure to appear, assault causes bodily injury family member.

Lei Ann Marie Cruz, of Dilley, DOB 03/23/1987, arrested Tuesday, February 24, 4:50 p.m., criminal mischief; unlawful restraint.

Daniel R. Mendez, of Pearsall, DOB 01/29/1987, arrested Wednesday, February 25, 4:38 p.m., criminal trespass.

John Christopher Flores, of Pearsall, DOB 02/03/1986, arrested Thursday, February 26, 5:08 a.m., driving while intoxicated.

Clyde James Laskoskie, of Campwood, DOB 04/01/1987, arrested Thursday, February 26, 10:27 a.m., Real County warrant – sexual abuse of a child, continuous with victim being under 14 years of age.

Camilo Medrano, of Dilley, DOB 06/13/1992, arrested Friday, February 27, 1:46 p.m., assault on a family/household member impeding breath/circulation.

Joellyne Benavides, of Pearsall, DOB 09/24/2001, arrested Friday, February 27, 11:34 p.m., failure to appear – failure to identify as a fugitive with intent to give false information.

Juan Jose Aguilar, of Pearsall, DOB 09/06/1988, arrested Saturday, February 28, 5:26 a.m., driving while intoxicated, second.

Liza Amanda Salinas, of San Antonio, DOB 09/16/1980, arrested Saturday, February 28, 6:28 p.m., criminal trespass.

Joel Villegas Jr., of Laredo, DOB 11/07/1983, arrested Monday, March 2, 6:27 p.m., driving while intoxicated.

Gary Robert Bright, of Pearsall, DOB 01/08/1962, arrested Tuesday, March 3, 9:01 a.m., criminal trespass.

Austin Paul Ferguson, of Shavano Park, DOB 02/04/1994, arrested Wednesday, March 4, 11:19 a.m., four counts, motion to revoke – smuggling of persons.

Heather Leal, of Pearsall, DOB 06/22/1985, arrested Wednesday, March 4, 4:09 p.m., manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance in a drug free zone.

Johnny Chavera Bazan Jr., of Pearsall, DOB 10/25/1992, arrested Thursday, March 5, 5:25 p.m., evading arrest or detention; possession of a controlled substance.

Marvin Robert Uecker, of San Antonio, DOB 12/28/1972, arrested Thursday, March 5, 10:39 p.m., assault; terroristic threat causing fear of imminent serious bodily injury.

Forrest Wayne Edwards, of Moore, DOB 05/29/1969, arrested Friday, March 6, 12:39 p.m., Medina County warrant, failure to appear, possession of a controlled substance.

Orlando Martinez, no address listed, DOB 03/23/1983, arrested Saturday, March 7, 11:04 a.m., failure to appear – evading arrest or detention.

Lisynnette Torres Ortiz, of Arlington, DOB 05/18/1992, arrested Sunday, March 8, 3:28 p.m., three counts – smuggling of persons; three counts – commitment, smuggling of persons.

Carlos Jose Ramos Escobar, of San Antonio, DOB 02/01/1996, arrested Sunday, March 8, 7:59 p.m., unauthorized use of a vehicle.
