CHS duo earn SA Stock Show honors

Cotulla High School senior Dannika Walker and junior Ryan Sanchez recently competed at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo with Walker earning a spot in the auction for placing first in class with her market goat. The monies she was awarded will be used towards her higher education. Ryan competed in the Calf Scramble finals and was named the 2026 Calf Scramble Champion for being the first to catch a calf. He earned a total of $3,800 towards a livestock project for the upcoming year.
