20 jailed in La Salle, May 11 – 31

Thirty-six individuals were arrested in La Salle County over the past three weeks on a range of felony and misdemeanor charges and on warrants issued locally and in other jurisdictions.

Arrests were made by deputies of the La Salle County Sheriff’s Office, troopers of the Texas Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol, and officers of the Encinal Police Department.

In addition to those serving commitment by order of the courts (details previously published), those taken into custody between Monday, June 1, and Sunday, June 21, with arrest times logged at booking in the La Salle County Jail, were as follows:

Adam Montes Lara, 73, of Cotulla; arrested 11:12 p.m. Monday, June 1, by the Sheriff’s Office; Class A misdemeanor hindering an apprehension or prosecution; released on bond after two days, 17 hours.

Rogelio Roy Ramos, 42, of Cotulla; arrested 11 p.m. Monday, June 1, by the Sheriff’s Office; Class B misdemeanor possession of marijuana, warrant issued by La Salle County Pct. 1 Justice of the Peace for Class A misdemeanor assault causing bodily injury to a family member; remained in jail Monday, June 22.

Rudy Perez, 47, of Iowa Park, Texas; arrested 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, by the Sheriff’s Office; state jail felony unauthorized use of a motor vehicle; released on bond after two days, 14 hours.

Keanee Noel Martin, 32, of San Antonio; arrested 7:40 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, by the Sheriff’s Office; state jail felony unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, third-degree felony possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 1/1b; released on bond after eight days, 18 hours.

Hector Cruz, 43, of San Ygnacio, Texas; arrested 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, by the Texas DPS; warrant issued in Dimmit County for Class A misdemeanor assault causing bodily injury; released on bond after four hours.

Michael Stephen McCarty, 32, of Encinal; arrested 9:10 p.m. Thursday, June 4, by the Encinal PD; felony parole violation; remained in jail Monday, June 22.

Juan Eloy Ubalde-Gutierrez, 59, of Zapata, Texas; arrested 3 a.m. Friday, June 5, by the Sheriff’s Office; warrant issued by Pct. 2 JP for misdemeanor driving with an expired license; released after 11 hours on promise to pay fines.

Ruban Bautista Garcilazo, 47, of Zapata, Texas; arrested 3:10 a.m. Friday, June 5, by the Texas DPS; Class B misdemeanor driving while intoxicated; released on bond after 10 hours.

Cesar Antonio Adams Jr., 30, of Encinal; arrested 4:25 p.m. Friday, June 5, by the Encinal PD; Class A misdemeanor criminal mischief; released on bond after 23 hours.

Angel Gallegos, 19, of San Antonio; arrested 1:42 p.m. Monday, June 8, by the Sheriff’s Office; warrants issued in La Salle County Court for failure to appear in court on Class B misdemeanor criminal mischief and Class A misdemeanor burglary of vehicles (four counts); remained in jail Monday, June 22.

Michael Craig McGlothlin, 49, of Leeville, Louisiana; arrested 4:06 p.m. Monday, June 8, by the Sheriff’s Office; warrant issued in Travis County for state jail felony possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 2; released on bond after 18 hours.

Richard Anthony Robotham, 52, of Converse, Texas; arrested 12:54 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, by the Sheriff’s Office; warrant issued by Pct. 1 JP for Class B misdemeanor terroristic threat; released on bond after 19 hours.

Noe Gutierrez, 49, of Cotulla; arrested 10:50 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, by the Sheriff’s Office; warrant issued by Austin Parole Board for felony parole violation; remained in jail Monday, June 22.

Alexander Flores, 34, of Grayson, Georgia; arrested 9:59 a.m. Thursday, June 11, by the Texas DPS; third-degree felony possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 2; released on bond after 22 hours.

Daniel Gloria Dominguez, 24, of Jose Maria Morelos, Texas; arrested 3:32 p.m. Thursday, June 11, by the Texas DPS; warrant issued in Hockley County for driving while intoxicated (second offense); on hold for US immigration authorities; transferred after 22 hours.

Fausto Rojas Reyes, 54, of Giddings, Texas; arrested 8:35 p.m. Thursday, June 11, by the Sheriff’s Office; Class B misdemeanor criminal mischief up to $750 in value; released on bond after 11 hours.

Andrew Thomas Villarreal, 36, of Seminole, Texas; arrested 5:10 a.m. Friday, June 12, by the Sheriff’s Office; warrants issued in Gaines County for Class B misdemeanor assault on a family or household member by impeding breath or circulation and felony aggravated assault; released on bond after two days, six hours.

Juan Carlos Ayala, 37, of Cotulla; arrested 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 12, by the Sheriff’s Office; warrant issued by US Marshals Service for felony human smuggling; on hold for US Marshals, transferred after four hours.

Valeria Hernandez Rios, 51, of Cotulla; arrested 11:56 p.m. Friday, June 12, by the Sheriff’s Office; Class A misdemeanor assault on a family or household member; released on bond after 17 hours.

Miguel Angel Escobedo, 46, of San Antonio; arrested 1:50 a.m. Saturday, June 13, by the Texas DPS; third-degree felony driving while intoxicated (third or more offense), Class A misdemeanor resisting arrest, warrant issued by Austin Parole Board for felony parole violation; remained in jail Monday, June 22.

Matthew Ryan Hernandez, 29, of Yancey, Texas; arrested 1:45 a.m. Sunday, June 14, by the Texas DPS; Class A misdemeanor driving while intoxicated; released on bond after 12 hours.

Jose Humberto Trevino-Flores, 33, of Donna, Texas; arrested 2:14 p.m. Monday, June 15, by the Sheriff’s Office; misdemeanor warrants issued by Pct. 2 JP for possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to control speed, warrant issued in La Salle County Court for failure to appear in court on Class B misdemeanor striking a highway sign or fixture of at least $200 in value; released on bond after two days, one hour.

Jorge Alberto Rodriguez, 44, of Cotulla; arrested 6:45 p.m. Monday, June 15, by the Sheriff’s Office; misdemeanor disorderly conduct; released on bond after 17 hours.

Robert Alexander Torrado-Velasco, 19, of Arlington, Texas; arrested 10:20 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, by the Texas DPS; third-degree felony evading arrest with a vehicle, third-degree felony smuggling of persons (four counts); remained in jail Monday, June 22, on hold for US immigration authorities.

Homero Villarreal, 24, of Laredo; arrested 2:37 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, by the Sheriff’s Office; warrant issued in La Salle District Court for third-degree felony smuggling of persons; transferred after two days, five hours.

Esmeralda Rendon, 28, of Austin; arrested 2:37 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, by the Sheriff’s Office; warrant issued by Pct. 2 JP for misdemeanor driving without a license, warrants issued in La Salle County Court for Class B misdemeanor possession of marijuana and Class A misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 3; released on bond after one day, three hours.

Martin Morales, 56, of Encinal; arrested 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, by the Texas DPS; state jail felony possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 1/1b, Class A misdemeanor terroristic threat upon a family or household member; remained in jail Monday, June 22.

Israel Alexander Salas, 22, of Laredo; arrested 2:10 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, by the Sheriff’s Office; third-degree felony evading arrest with a vehicle, and commitment on three felony charges; remained in jail Monday, June 22.

Josser Alexander Figueroa, 21, of San Antonio; arrested 8:48 a.m. Friday, June 19, by the Sheriff’s Office; third-degree felony evading arrest with a vehicle, third-degree felony smuggling of persons; released on bond after one day, 14 hours.

Adan A. Borrego, 45, of Sabina, Texas; arrested 8 p.m. Friday, June 19, by the Sheriff’s Office; warrant issued by Pct. 1 JP for Class B misdemeanor criminal trespass; remained in jail Monday, June 22.

Alejandro Garza, 31, of Laredo; arrested 1:38 a.m. Saturday, June 20, by the Sheriff’s Office; misdemeanor warrants issued by Pct. 1 JP for driving without a license and speeding; released on bond after 12 hours.

Austin Thomas Glenn, 29, of Encinal; arrested 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 20, by the Encinal PD; second-degree felony aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury; remained in jail Monday, June 22.

Joe Garrett Rodriguez, 18, of Cotulla; arrested 2:40 a.m. Sunday, June 21, by the Sheriff’s Office; Class B misdemeanor reckless conduct, third-degree felony evading arrest with a vehicle, Class B misdemeanor racing on a highway; released on bond after six hours.

Nathan Guzman, 39, of Cotulla; arrested 7:36 a.m. Sunday, June 21, by the Sheriff’s Office; warrants issued by Pct. 2 JP for selling or offering alcohol to minors, interfering with public duties, and disorderly conduct; released on bond after two hours.

Pedro Sandoval Jr., 48, of Cotulla; arrested 12:51 p.m. Sunday, June 21, by the Sheriff’s Office; warrants issued by Pct. 1 JP for third-degree felony unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and Class B misdemeanor disorderly conduct in discharging or displaying a firearm, warrants issued in La Salle District Court for failure to appear in court on first-degree felony manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 1 and failure to appear in court on second-degree felony possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 1/1b; remained in jail Monday, June 22.

Tyrese Delmar Gonzalez, 19, of Cotulla; arrested 11:32 p.m. Sunday, June 21, by the Sheriff’s Office; warrant issued by Pct. 1 JP for Class A misdemeanor violation of a bond or protective order; remained in jail Monday, June 22.
