Pearsall Senior All-Stars chasing state tournament title this week in Abilene.

Pearsall’s District 21 and Section 3 champion Senior League All-Stars have kicked off action at the 2026 Texas West State Little League Tournament this week, opening play at the state event against Monahans.

The Texas West State Tournament will host all divisions, both softball and baseball in Abilene at Lake Kirby Park, the home of Wylie Little League and Wylie softball.

The opening ceremony was held on Tuesday evening, July 7 at Abilene Christian University’s Crutcher Scott Baseball Field and the tournament is slated to run July 8-11.

Pearsall’s all-stars opened tournament play Wednesday evening, July 8 against the Section 1 champions from West Texas.

The winner will advance to face the winner of the Section 2 vs. Section 4 contest between Laredo and University. That contest is scheduled for Thursday, July 9 at 8:30 p.m.

Both losing teams would face off in the consolation bracket in a 6 p.m. contest also on July 9.

The second round championship bracket loser will drop to take on the consolation winner on Friday, July 10 at 11:30 a.m.

In the double elimination event, the first championship clinching contest will be on Saturday, July 11 at 11:30 a.m. A second game, if needed, is also scheduled for Saturday, at a time to be determined.

The Texas West State Tournament bracket outlines gameplay at the tournament in Abilene this week. The first opportunity for a team to claim the championship is Saturday morning.
