Dilley’s Lalo Tijerina of Tijerina Towing in Dilley took first place in the Vintage Class at the USA Wrecker Pageant this past weekend at the American Towman Exposition TowXpo July 16-18 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio with his classic Ford tow truck. The TowXpo event offers towing and recovery professionals the opportunity to meet and talk with major manufacturers of wreckers, carriers, trailers, truck chassis. Attendees meet with major motor club representatives, dispatch systems providers, GPS companies and equipment finance sources and can browse the latest in safety apparel and equipment. The event also features towing and recovery experts from a wide range of industry specialties, from business operations and staff training to working with local police and municipalities.
