Manuel J. Sifuentes, 77, died on October 3, 2023 in Pearsall. He was born on April 5, 1946 to Manuel and Josefa Sifuentes in Eagle Pass.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son Manuel Sifuentes Jr. and his seven siblings.
Manuel is survived by his wife of 23 years, Raquel Sifuentes, sons from his first marriage, Everardo Sifuentes and Eduardo Sifuentes, daughters-in-law Sonia, Raquel and Linda Sifuentes and grandchildren Everardo II, Eduardo Jr., Josue, Julianna, Ximena, and Manuel III, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a dedicated truck driver for 45 years, and most recently a school bus driver for the Pearsall Independent School District. Manuel had a passion for his faith and attended the Freedom House church community.
A visitation was held on Monday, October 9 from 5 to 9 p.m. with a prayer service recited at 7 p.m. at Primrose Funeral Services in Pearsall. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 10 at 10 a.m. at Primrose Funeral Services. Interment followed at the Pearsall Cemetery.
