A Dilley woman set to appear in front of a district judge this week found herself behind bars for the second time following a narcotics raid on Friday, May 23, according to the Frio County Sheriff’s Office.
A report on the case indicates an investigation into alleged drug trade was prompted after several residents contacted the sheriff’s office regarding stop-and-go traffic at a residence along East Obregon Street in Dilley.
Deputies have said they were familiar with the suspect, identified as Jasmine Soliz, 31. The woman had been arrested in December 2021 for possession of a large quantity of methamphetamine.
Soliz was found at home at the time the search warrant was executed by deputies and subsequently transported to the Frio County Jail without further incident after officers discovered methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia throughout the residence.
“These repeat offenders pose a threat to public safety,” Sheriff Peter Salinas said of the case. “My office has a general call to hold these suspects accountable for their actions.”
