COUNTY ARRRESTS
Twenty-two individuals were arrested in La Salle County over the past two weeks on a range of felony and misdemeanor charges and on warrants issued locally and in other jurisdictions.
Arrests were made by deputies of the La Salle County Sheriff’s Office and troopers of the Texas Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol.
One man was arrested twice.
In addition to those serving commitment by order of the courts (details previously published), those taken into custody between Monday, June 22, and Sunday, July 5, with arrest times logged at booking in the La Salle County Jail, were as follows:
Gerardo Adan Crispin, 23, of Laredo; arrested 7:25 a.m. Monday, June 22, by the Sheriff’s Office; third-degree felony smuggling of persons, warrant issued by La Salle County Pct. 1 Justice of the Peace for misdemeanor violating a promise to appear in court; released on bond after 10 hours.
Osvaldo David Martinez, 17, of Austin; arrested 11:50 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, by the Sheriff’s Office; second-degree felony smuggling of persons while fleeing (four counts), third-degree felony evading arrest with a vehicle; remained in jail Monday, July 6.
Brandon Michael Garcia, 36, of Cotulla; arrested 4:48 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, by the Sheriff’s Office; second-degree felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, Class A misdemeanor assault causing bodily injury to a family member; released on bond after one day, two hours.
Carlos Enrique Perales, 45, of Cotulla; arrested 11:08 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, by the Sheriff’s Office; misdemeanor public intoxication; released on bond after 13 hours.
Carlos Roberto Fernandez, 22, of Encinal; arrested 1:48 a.m. Thursday, June 25, by the Sheriff’s Office; misdemeanor warrants issued by Pct. 3 JP for driving without a license and failure to appear in court; released on bond after two hours.
Diane Ramirez Saur, 69, of San Antonio; arrested 11:50 a.m. Thursday, June 25, by the Sheriff’s Office; warrants issued in La Salle District Court for failure to appear in court on third-degree felony smuggling of persons (two counts); remained in jail Monday, July 6.
Kelly Canales, 33, of Cotulla; arrested 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 25, by the Sheriff’s Office; warrant issued by Pct. 1 JP for Class A misdemeanor assault causing bodily injury, warrant issued in La Salle County Court for failure to appear in court on Class A misdemeanor assault causing bodily injury; remained in jail Monday, July 6.
Rae Serna, 17, of Victoria, Texas; arrested 8:52 p.m. Thursday, June 25, by the Sheriff’s Office; Class B misdemeanor possession of marijuana; released on bond after 15 hours.
Chris Camarillo, 35, of Laredo; arrested 8:26 p.m. Sunday, June 28, by the Texas DPS; warrant issued in Uvalde County for Class B misdemeanor driving while intoxicated; released on bond after 13 hours.
Zion Joe Ramirez, 21, of Cotulla; arrested 12:29 p.m. Monday, June 29, by the Sheriff’s Office; Class B misdemeanor criminal trespass; released on bond after one day, two hours.
Francisco Martinez, 61, of Cotulla; arrested 9:20 p.m. Monday, June 29, by the Sheriff’s Office; misdemeanor public intoxication; released on bond after 17 hours. Arrested 7:02 p.m. Sunday, July 5, by the Sheriff’s Office; misdemeanor public intoxication; remained in jail Monday, July 6.
Ernesto Serna Jr., 38, of Laredo; arrested 7:44 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, by the Sheriff’s Office; bench warrant; transferred after two days.
Ramiro Gonzalez-Castillo, 36, of Georgetown, Texas; arrested 7:44 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, by the Sheriff’s Office; Class B misdemeanor driving while intoxicated; released on bond after 19 hours.
William Morales-Zallat, 35, of Live Oak, Texas; arrested 4:12 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, by the Sheriff’s Office; Class B misdemeanor displaying a fictitious license plate; released on bond after ten hours.
Zachary Gavin Corrales, 20, of San Antonio; arrested 11:14 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, by the Sheriff’s Office; warrants issued in La Salle District Court for failure to appear in court on first-degree felony smuggling of persons with a likelihood of serious bodily injury or death (two counts) and third-degree felony evading arrest with a vehicle; remained in jail Monday, July 6.
Erbey Saed Pena, 48, of Cotulla; arrested 11:17 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, by the Sheriff’s Office; warrant issued by Pct. 1 JP for misdemeanor harassment by repeated internet communication; released on bond after one day.
Isaac Matthew Zamora, 27, of Laredo; arrested 9 p.m. Thursday, July 2, by the Sheriff’s Office; warrant issued in Uvalde for possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 2; released on bond after 19 hours.
Luis Adrian Rosas-Delgado, 41, of Adolfo Lopez Mateos, Sinaloa, Mexico; arrested 7:48 a.m. Friday, July 3, by the Texas DPS; third-degree felony smuggling of persons (four counts); remained in jail Monday, July 6.
Jesus Ramirez Jr., 34, of Cotulla; arrested 1:50 p.m. Friday, July 3, by the Sheriff’s Office; warrant issued in La Salle District Court for failure to appear in court on state jail felony possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 1/1b, warrants issued by Pct. 3 JP for second-degree felony aggravated assault and terroristic threat against a peace officer or judge; remained in jail Monday, July 6.
Demetrio Guardiola, 50, of Cotulla; arrested 3:36 p.m. Friday, July 3, by the Sheriff’s Office; warrant issued in La Salle District Court for failure to appear in court on third-degree felony possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 1/1b; remained in jail Monday, July 6.
Anahi Marie Martinez, 17, of Laredo; arrested 1:25 a.m. Sunday, July 5, by the Texas DPS; state jail felony possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 1/1b; released on bond after 14 hours.
Alyiah Marlyne Martinez, 19, of Laredo; arrested 1:25 a.m. Sunday, July 5, by the Texas DPS; warrant issued in Bexar County for felony possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 1/1b; released on bond after 14 hours.
