    FLAMINGO FLOCKING hosted as a fundraiser by the Dilley Band Boosters continues through June 2. Community residents may book flamingo flocks to “land” on friends’ front lawns for up to 72 hours, or make donations as “flocking insurance” against being pranked.     BRUSH PICK-UP by the city of Pearsall will begin Monday, May 16 through Friday, May 20. Have brush ready for pickup by Friday, May 13. Brush cannot be larger than four inches in diameter, cannot exceed eight cubic yards and stacked neatly by the curb.

    TIRE ROUND-UP by the city of Pearsall will be May 17-21 at the transfer station from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. They will accept scrap tires, limited to ten per person. No commercial vendors and must present a current city bill. No heavy equipment tires.

    PEARSALL CLASS OF 1967 will celebrate its reunion alongside classes of 1950-1970 on Saturday, May 28, 6 p.m. to midnight, at the Pearsall Civic Center (former Lions Club) on Horizon West, with a buffet, disc jockey, BYOB, ice and set-ups. Registration is $30 per adult. The reunion is open to all PHS alumni from 1950 to 1970 (note additional classes welcome). Registry deadline is extended through May 16.
