BORDERTOWN SHOWDOWN

BORDERTOWN SHOWDOWN rodeo will be held Thursday to Saturday, April 2-4, at the La Salle Youth Rodeo Arena on North Main Street in Cotulla. The fourth annual event by the South Texas Rodeo Association features 135 contestants from across the US and other countries in bareback riding, saddle bronc riding and bull riding. Additional family entertainment includes live music by the Solis Brothers, an Easter egg hunt, youth and adult barbecue cook-off, and games. Proceeds benefit rodeo athletes through scholarships and national competition expenses.
