Ricardo Martinez, 54, of Pearsall, died on October 30, 2019. He was born in Pearsall on February 11, 1965 to Rosendo Martinez and Lucia Vasquez Martinez.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Raul Martinez.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma T. Martinez; children, Felicia Garcia, Errigardo Garcia, Juan J Garcia, Adan Garcia; siblings, Mucio Martinez and wife Margarita of Pearsall, Celestina Martinez and husband, Jaime of California, Victor Martinez and wife, Gregoria of New Mexico, Trinidad Martinez and wife, Jessica of Pearsall, Linda Rodriguez and husband, Gomer of Dilley, Sandra Martinez and Greg Dominguez of Pearsall, Maribel Martinez and Francisco Garza of Lytle; 10 grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Thursday, November 7, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. Funeral mass was celebrated on Friday, November 8, at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment followed at the Pearsall Cemetery.
Pallbearers included, Trinidad Martinez Jr., Charlie Martinez Sr., Victor Martinez Jr., Martin Martinez Sr., Gomer Rodriguez Jr., Damian Ramos, Josiah Turrbiates, and Jose Dominguez.
Honorary Pallbearers included, Jenevaeh Garcia, Cassidy Martinez, Charlie Martinez Jr., and Christian Martinez.
