Roy Boyd of Bigfoot, died on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 in Dilley, at the age of 84. Roy was born on April 19, 1935 in Bigfoot to William Arthur Boyd and Gladys Rene Hunt.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Jean Wilson and brother-in-law James Leroy Wilson.
Roy is survived by his wife Emma Boyd, son Tyran Boyd, daughters Adean Velasquez, Julie Heirholzer and husband Ken and Janay Boyd, brothers Calvin Boyd, Bill Boyd, sisters Joan Chapman, Joyce McRee, Marion Mergele, Linda Henehan, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Tuesday, February 18 at Hurley Funeral Home in Devine with interment at the Longview Cemetery in Bigfoot.
