He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers George Gonzalez and Jesse Gonzalez.

Gonzalez is survived by his children Lisa Renee Gonzalez, Melanie Dawn Gonzalez and Juan Pablo Gonzalez (Cynthia Contreras), grandchildren Abigail Garcia, Kiera Denton, Nyana Denton, JaNiya Denton, Isaiah Thompson, Jacob Gonzalez, Malachi Romez, Ohnysty Gonzalez, Auria Gonzalez, Unique Gonzalez, Chanel Gonzalez, Romancio Gonzalez and Majesty Gonzalez, siblings Esperanza Gonzalez, Sisto Gonzalez, Joe Gonzalez, Clemente Gonzalez, David Gonzalez and Rogelio Gonzalez. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 29 at Peters Funeral Home from ** a.m. to ** a.m. Funeral services were held on Monday, March 8 at Peters Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Interment will be held at the Fort Sam Houston Cemetery on Tuesday, March 30 at 11:15 a.m.
