Maria Elvia Martinez, 55, of Dilley, died on July 13, 2021. She was born on July 23, 1965, in Cotulla to Domingo Martinez and Ernestina Lizama Martinez.

She is preceded in death by her husband Luis Garcia, brothers Larry Martinez and Elio Martinez.

Maria is survived by her children Ernie Martinez, Claudia Garcia, Luis Garcia and Oscar Garcia, siblings Juanita Pruneda, Victoria, Martinez, Eida Martinez, Domingo Martinez Jr., Aniceto Martinez, Juan Martinez, Oscar Martinez and Roberto Martinez. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
