Samuel E. Lambert, 87, died on November 24, 2021. He was born on July 5, 1934, to Chester E. and Mary Ellen Lambert.
He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Laura Florence Lambert, siblings Marie Smith, Chester Lambert, Clarence Lambert, Doris Jones and granddaughter Joanna Lambert.
Lambert is survived by his spouse Gail Lambert, children Jay (Rona) Lambert, Ray (Reesa) Lambert, Clay (Allene) Lambert and Janna (Wade) McElya, stepson Joe (Missy) Johnson, siblings Johnny (Roxie) Lambert, Mary (Jerry) Comalander and Ruth Mullins. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 27 at the First Baptist Church from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 27 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church. Interment followed at the Dilley Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were under the directions of Peters Funeral Home, Cotulla.
