Santiaga “Chaga” Morales Garza, 67, died on February 8, 2022. She born July 25, 1955 to Juaquin Morales and Catalina Valenciano Morales.

She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Sarah Danielle Garza, brother Jesus Morales.

Santiaga is survived by her sons Gustavo Morales and wife Maria F. Morales of Devine, and Christopher Morales and partner Jessica Capristo of Devine, grandchildren Christopher Adan Morales of Uvalde, Maleia Vanlent of San Antonio, Christopher Ramon, Katalina Ramon, and Benjamin Ramon of Devine, sisters Maria Guajardo and husband Salvador of Greeley Colorado, Rosario M. Garcia of Devine, brothers Santos Morales and wife Janie of Natalia, and Gilbert Morales and wife Yolanda of San Antonio, along with several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 21 from 5 to 9 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7 p.m. at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Devine. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, February 22 at 10 a.m. at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with services concluding at the church.
