Raul Vinton Frausto, 74, died on April 6, 2022, surrounded by his family following a recent battle with serious medical issues.
He is preceded in death by his parents Carmen and Santiago, nephew Jimmy Frausto of Pearsall, son Juan Raul Frausto Jr. of Spur, Texas, five sisters, two nephews and one niece.
Raul is survived by his wife Guadalupe Frausto of Spur, son Rafael Frausto and wife Rosemary Frausto of Spur, son Rene Frausto and wife Leticia Mendoza of Odessa, daughter Rebecca Frausto-Fuentez and husband Joe Fuentez of Snyder, Texas and his daughter-in-law Linda Rubio-Frausto of Waco. He is survived by 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, seven brothers and sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
He spent 48 years in the power line industry, teaching and training his entire career.
He was born and raised in Pearsall and met his wife Guadalupe in 1965. They were married on May 28, 1966.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 9 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church followed by interment at Spur Memorial Cemetery with Father Arulsamy officiating.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Zapata Funeral Home.
