2022 HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL
Pearsall fell to Devine but rebounded to defeat Somerset in District 29-4A volleyball action last week.
Pleasanton, Floresville and Devine remain entrenched atop the standings as the Lady Eagles are unbeaten at 6-0 while the Lady Tigers are 5-1 and the Arabians are 4-2.
Devine rolled in the win over Pearsall, taking the victory in three sets, 25-17, 25-11, 25-9.
In Friday’s outing at Somerset, the Lady Mavs turned things around, routing the Lady Bulldogs in three sets, 25-14, 25-17, 25-23.
The district split put Pearsall at 2-3 in league play. The team was off on Tuesday evening and will resume the second round of district play on Friday as they travel to Floresville.
