JoAnn Riggs, 88, known by her grandchildren as Janny, died on November 25, 2022 in San Antonio. She was born on October 10, 1934 in Lockhart to parents Troy and Lillian Howard.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Teddy Riggs.
JoAnn is survived by her son Bubba Riggs (Toylynne) of Boerne, daughter Serena Berger (Bobby) of Pearsall, grandchildren Sterling “Julio” Riggs, Koral Riggs, Keeton Brocksch, Tyler Berger, siblings Troy Howard, Jr. (Joy) and Dorothy McCarley.
Memorial visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with a service to be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 10 at Christian Faith Center in Dilley. Services will conclude at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to 180 Ranch, P.O. Box 842, Dilley, TX 78017.
