Rene Leal Jr., 49, of Pearsall, died on December 9, 2022 in San Antonio. He was born in Pearsall on January 3, 1973 to Rene Leal and Sylvia Trujillo.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Rene is survived by his children Nicholas Lathaniel Leal, siblings Audelia Leal, Raquel Valdez and Jimmy E. Leal. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 18 at the Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels in Pearsall from 3  to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Services were concluded after visitation.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels.
