GUTIERREZ, GARZA GARNER COVETED MAVERICK, LADY MAVERICK AWARDS
Pearsall lauded its athletes’ achievements this school year, noting their vast improvements in some sports and dominance in others during the annual sports banquet at the high school cafetorium on Monday, May 22.
Gabriel Gutierrez and Sophia Garza were named the winners of the annual Maverick and Lady Maverick Awards, honoring those athletes who display leadership on and off the field and the characteristics of what it means to be a Maverick or Lady Maverick.
