Manuel Lopez Cuellar, 62, died surrounded by his family on May 26, 2023. He was born to Hortencia and George Cuellar on July 18, 1960, in Pearsall. He is preceded in death by his parents, stepfather Felix Rodriguez, daughter Amber Kathleen Cuellar and sister Analisa Perez. Manuel is survived by his wife Patricia Perez Cuellar, sister Linda and Gina. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Manuel was a graduate of Pearsall high school and was well known for running the team. After graduating, Manuel was a manager at HEB. He also worked at western Auto and a few oilfield companies. His hobbies included cooking, hunting, fishing and watching sci-fi movies. He was an avid collector of antiques, rare coins, guns and magazines and enjoyed taking his wife Patricia and daughter Angelica on trips to different museums, amusement parks and many other outdoor activities. Pallbearers included Gilbert Perez Jr., David Perez, Thomas Martinez, david Muniz, Albert Delgado and Richard Perez Jr. Visitation was held on Friday, June 2 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels in Pearsall at 8:30 a.m. A Rosary was recited at 9 a.m. Funeral mass followed at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Pearsall at 10 a.m. Interment followed at the Pearsall Catholic (eastside) Cemetery after mass. Funeral arrangments were under the direction of Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels, Pearsall.
