Rebecca Reyes, 91, of Pearsall, died on February 24, 2024. She was born on March 5, 1932 to Francisco and Esther Hernandez Cerda.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Humbert Reyes, her brothers, two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Rebecca is survived by her brother Victor “Jose” Cerda, Efrain Serna (Ignacia), Alma Lopez (Toby Sr.), Adrian Reyes (Rosalinda), Alejandra Viesca (Felipe), Rosalinda Zapata (Samuel), 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held at Primrose Funeral Services in Pearsall on February 28, from 5 to 9 p.m. A celebration of life was held at New Hope Church in Pearsall on February 29 at 10 a.m. Interment followed at the Frio County Cemetery in Pearsall.
