He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Maria B. Ramirez, daughter Isabel Ramirez and siblings David Ramirez, Cheila Luna, Jesus Ramirez, and Elsa Narvaiz.

Ramirez is survived by his daughters Maria R. (Jerry†) Miller, Rosario Ramirez and Esmeralda R. (Lito) Garza, grandchildren Jose Luis Avila, Abrian (Tiffany) Garza, Libby (David) Montano, Robert Garza, Andrew Garza, Anyssa Maria Garza, Joshua Garza, and Harley Miller, great-grandchildren Juliana Faith Avila, Amadaus Trejo and David Montano III, siblings Ricardo Ramirez, Maria Torres, Elvia Reyes, Robert Ramirez, Jose Angel Ramirez, Letty Roman and Elma Jasso. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A private inurnment will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Peters Funeral Home, Cotulla.
