Jerry Bruce Crosby, 82, died on March 23, 2024, in Pearsall at the Frio Rehabilitation Center. He was born on January 5, 1942, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Howard and Helen Crosby.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Jim and Bill Crosby.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 46 years, Beth Crosby of Pearsall, son Keelan Crosby of Baltimore, Maryland, daughter Stephanie Ann Cox of Houston, stepdaughters Sheryl Hill (Scott) of Lexington, Texas, Shanna Gates (Jim) of Pearsall, and Shelly Younger (Bryan) of Roosevelt, Oklahoma. He also leaves behind eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, several cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Bruce spent much of his life working rural powerlines and light rail construction, and several other entrepreneurial endeavors. He enjoyed spending time with his kids, grandkids, target shooting, going to casinos with friends, and playing poker.

A memorial service will be held at the Pearsall Methodist Church on Friday, April 12, from 3 to 5 p.m. Services will conclude at the church.
