Belen G. Pardo, 59, wife, mother, and sister, died on April 4, 2024 in San Antonio. She was born on September 15, 1964 in Pearsall to Jose Garza and Rosa De la Cruz.

She is preceeded in death by her father and her grandparents Anita Garcia and Jose H. Garcia.

Belen is survived by her husband Ray Pardo, twin daughters Breanne and Bianca Pardo, and her mother Rosa De la Cruz. She is also survived by her brothers Ronnie Garza, wife Julie and children April and Eric Garza, brother Edward Garza and his children Eddie, Joseph and Cassandra Garza, and brother John “Marty” Garza, wife Candie Garza and children Olivia and Sophia Garza.

She was born and raised in Pearsall and was an active member of the high school band as their flute player and worked at the local Dairy Queen. She moved to San Antonio, went to business school, and worked her way up from the bottom and had a 37-year career with USAA.

She fought cancer two separate times in her life. In 1992, she gave birth to twin daughters, Bianca and Breanne Pardo and worked to send them to Catholic school.

Belen enjoyed time with her family even if it was watching a movie at home or on YouTube or shopping for deals. She enjoyed late night coffee and snack runs with family.

Services were held on Wednesday, April 10 with Rosary at 9 a.m. Mass was held at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Pearsall. Interment followed at the Pearsall Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Primrose Funeral Services, Pearsall.
