Hector C. Guevara Sr., 78, died on April 7, 2024, at his home surrounded by family. He was born on October 9, 1945 in Pearsall to Martina M. Carrizales and Rutilio Guevara.

He is preceded in death by both his parents and stepfather who raised him, Juan Carrizales and brothers, Louie Carrizales and Augustin Carrizales.

Hector is survived by his wife, Irene Martinez Guevara, son Hector Guevara Jr. and grandchildren, Jacob Guevara and Jade Guevara, stepdaughter Brianne Gonzales and by his two great-grandchildren, Joaquin and Julian Guevara and a brother Juan Carrizales.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10, at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. A Rosary was recited at 2 p.m. Services concluded at the chapel.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels.
