Javier Briones, 36, of Dilley, died on April 30, 2024. He was born on October 7, 1987 in Laredo to Leticia Briones and Juan Jose Castillo Velasquez.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Javier Briones Gonzales, Epifiana Velasquez Gonzales and Ramon Castillo.

Javier is survived by his wife Kristy Briones, children Javier Briones Jr., Genesis Victoria Briones, Juan Jesus Briones and Kaycie Jean Briones, mother Leticia of Laredo, father Juan Jose of Nuevo Laredo, siblings Juan Jose Briones of Laredo, Ashley Ancheyta of Laredo and Saul Sanchez of Laredo.

Pallbearers included Javier Briones Jr., Saul Sanchez, Ashley Ancheyta, Pilo Esquivel, James Kinsey, Juan De Dios Rivera, George Rodriguez, Aubrey Tuttlebee, Arturo Lopez and Javier Castillo.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 7 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels in Dilley from 5 to 9 p.m. A Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Funeral mass was celebrated on Wednesday, May 8 at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Dilley at 10 a.m. Services concluded at the church.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Treviño Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels, Pearsall.
