Ernest Bias Jr., 78, formerly of Moore, died on May 2, 2024. He was born on December 15, 1945 to Ernest and Violet Bias.

He is preceded in death by his wife Cleo R. Bias, daughter Virginia Katherine Bias Campbell, his parents and numerous siblings.

Bias is survived by his life partner Alice Middleton, children June Perez, Chuck (Colleen) Bias, Ernestine Dorpinghaus, David (Aimee) Middleton, Connie (Derek) French and sister-in-law Peggy Bias. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 15 at Redemption Baptist Church, from 4 to 9 p.m. Funeral services were held on Thursday, May 16 at 10: a.m. at Redemption Baptist Church. Interment was held at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Peters Funeral Home, Cotulla.
