Guadalupe M. Villarreal Jr., 67, of Pearsall, died on September 21, 2024, in San Antonio. He was born on January 2, 1957 to Guadalupe Villarreal Sr. and Leonila M. Villarreal.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Leonardo Villarreal and grandson Emilio Villarreal.

Villarreal is survived by his wife Maria Teresa Martinez Villareal, children Daniel Villareal, Claudia Villarreal, Lupita Jenkins, Joe Robert Villarreal, Estrella Villarreal, Layla Villarreal, Naudia Gina Villarreal and Abel Villarreal, sisters Yolanda Vasquez, Teresa Salazar and Gloria Cantu. He also is survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

After more than 30 years of employment, Villarreal retired from Pearsall Independent School District as a bus driver.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 25 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 5 to 9 p.m. A Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Funeral mass was celebrated on Thursday, September 26 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Services concluded at the church.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels, Pearsall.
