Johnny Ray Lambert Sr., 86, died on Thursday, October 17, 2024. He was born May 2, 1938 to Chester Field Lambert and Mary Ellen Lee in Petronila, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings Marie Smith, Doris Jones, Chester Lambert, Clarence Lambert, and Samuel E. Lambert.

Johnny is survived by his spouse Roxie A. Lambert, children Michael L. Lambert, Johnny R. (Maria) Lambert Jr., Shirley A. (Rodger) Twilley, and Kristi G. Lambert, siblings Mary (Jerry) Comalander, Ruth Mullins, and brother-in-law William C. Crawford (Jane). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, along with numerous friends and relatives.

A graveside service, officiated by Rev. Lance Hartsfield, was held at the Dilley Cemetery on Saturday, October 19,  at 2 p.m.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Treviño Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels, Pearsall.
