Eida Martinez, 74, of Dilley, died surrounded by her family on Wednesday, January 1, 2025. She was born on July 27, 1950 in Dilley to Domingo Martinez and Ernestina Lizama Martinez.

She is preceded in death by her parents, relatives Elio Martinez, Elvia Martinez and Larry Martinez.

Eida is survived by her siblings Juanita Pruneda (Baldemar Valle), Victoria Martinez, Domingo Martinez Jr. (Shannon), Aniceto Martinez (Chavela), Juan Martinez, Oscar Martinez (Yvonne) and Robert Martinez. She is also survived by her partner Benny Sanders, her stepchildren Joey and Kim Hernandez and Jim and Shellie Little and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels in Dilley from 1 to 5 p.m. Services concluded at the chapel.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels, Dilley.
