Antonio C. Cuevas

Antonio C. Cuevas, 85, of Pearsall, died on August 11, 2025, in San Antonio. He was born on May 10, 1940 in Charlotte to Gabriel Cuevas and Angelina Calderon Cuevas.

He is preceded in death by his wife Donata Trevino Cuevas and children Elida Robles, Edna Segundo, Rosalinda Uvalle, and Samuel Segundo, grandchildren Tomas Segundo and Priscilla Hurt, along with numerous brothers and sisters.

Antonio is survived by his children, Yvette Cuevas Medrano (Jose), Sonia C. Martinez (Pete) and Lupe Segundo Rendon, siblings Chuy Cuevas, Maria Rodriguez, and Fey Carrizales and grandchildren Jennifer, Lisa, Gina, Jose, Ayanna, Daniella, Sammy Jr., Dina, Ben, Clarisa, Tomas, Joshua, Melissa, and Priscilla, as well as 30 great-grandchildren, 17 great-great grandchildren and several nieces, and nephews.

Antonio dedicated over 30 years of his life working for the city of Pearsall as a heavy machinery operator. He enjoyed spending time with his family and creating memories.

A memorial Rosary will be held for Antonio on Saturday, September 20 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church at 9 a.m. Mass will be celebrated following the Rosary at 10 a.m. Interment will follow to the Chilipitin Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Treviño Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels, Pearsall.
