Johnny Roy Stacy

Johnny Roy Stacy, 85, died on Sunday, December 14, 2025. He was born on May 23, 1940 to JC and Zona Stacy in Jourdanton.

He is preceded in death by his wife Judy Kay, his parents, brothers Kenneth, Chester and Dicky, sister Carolee, and grandson Austin.

He is survived by his nine children Shane (Tammy) Stacy of Tarpley, Paige Clifton of Boerne, Clayt (Corinne) Stacy of Devine, Reagan (Susie) Stacy of Devine, Wendye (Marty) Sumner of Robstown, Collye (Dallas) Collins of Devine, Lynssi (Bobby) Grubb of Bigfoot, Garrett Stacy of Leander, Reid (Roni) Stacy of Ennis. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 1 sister Vicky (Donny) Malone.

The family eventually moved to Pearsall where he met Judy Kay. The couple were married on August 10, 1958 after they graduated from Pearsall High School. The couple were married for 64 years until Judy Kay’s passing on December 13, 2022.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 22, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Primrose Funeral Services in Pearsall. Funeral services will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 23 at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Pearsall. Burial will follow at the Pearsall Cemetery.
