MaryJane Treff

MaryJane Treff, 96, died on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. She was born on September 5, 1929, to Martin and Mary Matyear.

She is preceded in death by her husband Albert G. Treff, her parents and siblings, William Matyear, Eleanor Leal and Robert Matyear.

Treff is survived by her children Matthew (Lori) Treff, Arthur (Angie) Treff and Patrick Treff, grandchildren Leah (Edward) Lerma, Lynn Treff, Ethan Treff, Ian Treff, Matthew (Latayia) Treff and Nathan Treff, great-grandchildren Benjamin Lerma, Sophia Lerma, Brayden Aguilar, Allyson Aguilar, Trinity Treff, Matthew Treff, Arthur Treff and Theodore Treff.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 6 at Peters Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with a prayer service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at the Treff Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Lev at San Antonio, C/O Kimberly Deike, 7703 Briaridge Dr., San Antonio, Tx 78230.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Peters Funeral Home, Cotulla.
