Teresa V. Marquez

Teresa V. Marquez, 91, died on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, in her hometown of Pearsall. She was born on November 20, 1934 to Augustin Villarreal and Sophia Gonzales Villarreal.

She is preceded in death by her husband Rodolfo Marquez, and her parents and two sons, Willie Marquez and Rodolfo Marquez Jr., and grandson Oscar Villarreal Jr.

Teresa is survived by her children Oscar Villarreal (Adela), Chris Marquez (Ida), Carlos Marquez, Mary Peña, Martin Marquez, and Danny Marquez (LeaAnn). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 32-great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 30 at 8:30 a.m. at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapel and Crematory. A Rosary was recited from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A Mass celebrating Teresa’s life was held at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Final committal service and burial was held at the VFW Cemetery in Pearsall at noon.
