Juan G. Gonzalez Jr., 78, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2026. He was born on July 8, 1948, to Lily and Juan Gonzalez Sr.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Gonzalez is survived by his wife Petra S. Gonzalez, children Alfredo “Freddy” (Annabel) Gonzalez, Josie (Pedro) Vinton and Rudy Gonzalez, grandchildren Danielle Crawford, Keith Crawford Jr., Freddy Gonzalez Jr., Abel Gonzalez, Harley Gonzalez, Rudy Gonzalez Jr. and Kayla Gonzalez, great-grandchildren Jazmine Crawford, Bailey Jo Crawford, Luna Bela Gonzalez, Hailey Gonzalez, Aiden Gonzalez and his sister Isabell Martinez.

Pallbearers included Freddy Gonzalez Jr., Abel Gonzalez, Harley Gonzalez, Keith Craawford, Rudy Gonzalez Jr. and Rebecca Montalvo.

Visitation was held on Monday, July 20 at Peters Funeral Home from 5 to 9 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7 p.m. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, July 21 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Interment followed at the Cristo Rey Cemetery.

The family entrusted all funeral arrangements to Peters Funeral Home, Cotulla.
