Viola Aguilar Hill, 61, of Dilley, died on May 20, 2025. She was born on July 30, 1963, in Pearsall to Ernesto Aguilar and Margarita Benavides Aguilar.

She is survived by her sons Luis Ely Aguilar (Cynthia Ibarra), and Derrick Aguilar (Angelica Aranda). She is also survived by her sister, Yolanda Aguilar, and a large family of grandchildren Star, Santana, Elyssa, Soledad, Kodi, Ellie, Kodi, Jerimiah, Darius, Nikolai, Olivia, Destiny, Becca, and Lucky. Her great-grandchildren include Evelynn, Tres, Delilah, Liam, Alyana, Santana Jr., Armani, Ezequiel, Calida, and Ismael she is also survived by her nieces and nephews Gilbert Cantu, Norma Ortiz, Lori Ramirez, and Saul Benavides.

Viola is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Ramona Benavides.
