Lydia C. Hernandez

Lydia C. Hernandez, 75, of Pearsall, died on August 22, 2025 in San Antonio. She was born on September 2, 1949 to Agapito Cantu and Magdalena Lira.

She is preceded in death by her husband Ramon Garcia, son Robert ‘Bobby’ Hernandez, and her brothers, Jimmy Siller and Pete Arriola.

Lydia is survived by her children Beulah Hernandez (Jorge), Joe Hernandez (America), Jesus Hernandez, Connie Hernandez, and Gracie Hernandez (Luis Mora). She also leaves behind her siblings, Felix Cantu, Agapito Cantu, and Rojelio Lira, along with 21 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 4 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 3 to 9 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 5 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at the Pearsall Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels, Pearsall.
