Building a stronger South Texas

Administration and staff from the city of Pearsall participated in the Building the Next South Texas Economy Growth Series on June 30 at the Embassy Suites at Brooks City Base in San Antonio. City Manager Fred Reyes served as a panelist alongside regional leaders to discuss the opportunities and challenges shaping the future of South Texas. The regional economic summit, hosted by the South Texas Business Partnership, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing economic development, regional collaboration, and advocacy across South Texas, focused on shaping the future of the 27-county South Texas region. According to city officials, events like these bring together leaders from across the region to share ideas, strengthen partnerships, and explore opportunities that benefit communities. “We are proud to have a voice in these important conversations and remain committed to working alongside regional partners to help shape a stronger future for South Texas,” Reyes said of the event.
