Horacio L. Garcia, 54 of Pearsall, died on January 24, 2020 in Pearsall. He was born on June 30, 1965 in Dilley to Jaime Garcia and Ramona Lopez-Ortiz.

He is preceded in death by his father Jaime Garcia and brother Mark Garcia. Garcia is survived by his wife Elisa Reyes of Pearsall, children Jack Peralta, Horacio Peralta, Vanessa Valenzuela, Fatima Garcia, Carey Garcia, Gwedolyn Garcia and Pedro Leal Garcia, mother Ramona L. Ortiz, step-mother Yolanda Garcia, step-father Gilbert Ortiz, siblings Cynthia Cruz, Melissa Garcia, Leticia Ramirez, Catiria Valdez, Marie Ortiz, Jaime Garcia, Gilbert Ortiz, Bryan Garcia, Craig Garcia and April Garcia. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 2 to 9 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 1 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Pearsall at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at the Frio County Cemetery.
