Lillie Anna Saenz

Lillie Anna Saenz, 68, died on Friday, January 30, 2026, in Pearsall surrounded by her family. She was born on July 24, 1957, in Rio Grande City to parents Cosme Saenz and Norma Saenz.

She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings Roberto Saenz, Rosendo Saenz, and Samuel Garcia and her grandson Dennis Marcelino Leal.

Lillie is survived by siblings Marvin Saenz (Isabel) and Liviar Hernandez, daughter Rhonda Leal (Homer), grandchildren Homero Leal Jr. (Jesse), Maria Moreno (Marc), Jeffrey Leal, Mireya Moreno, Larissa Leal (Carmen), Christopher Moreno, Brianna Moreno, Zachery Leal (Kathryn), and Zaine Leal (Naydelin) and great-grandchildren Amariz Martinez, Elliana Martinez, Nayeli Garza, Zaylin Leal, and Katalaya Cuevas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, February 5 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels at 11 a.m. Funeral mass will follow at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church at 1 p.m. with burial at the Pearsall Cemetery.
