Simona S. Moreno

Simona S. Moreno, 78, died on Friday, April 17, 2026, in Pearsall. She was born on October 16, 1947 in Pearsall.

She is preceded in death by her mother Clotilde Reyes, brother Pete Peña and her husband of 51 years, Jacob F. Moreno.

Simona is survived by her son Chris Moreno (Suzy), stepson Andrew Moreno, granddaughters Jasmine Moreno, Selena & Suzette Moreno and great granddaughters Violette Raine Macias, Madalyn Rose Flores and Isabella Flores. She is also survived by her great grandsons Bryson and Caleb.

She worked at the Danchak Ben Franklin Store for 14 years, Walmart for ten years and was a GED teacher at the corrections facility and volunteered with several other organizations.

She was also a longtime member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and cherished spending time with her family.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 27 from 5 to 9 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7 p.m. at Primrose Funeral Services in Pearsall. Mass was held on Tuesday, April 28 at 10  a.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment followed at the Frio County Cemetery.
