Jose C. Torres, 80, died on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, in his hometown of Pearsall. He was born on June 27, 1945, in Pearsall to Serapio Torres and Trinidad Carrizales Torres.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Olivia C. Torres, brother Juan C. Torres, and sister Carolina Torres.
Jose is survived by his sister Oralia M. Torres, daughter Missy Torres (Daniel Menchaca), and son Joe Chavera (Sara Gonzales), grandchildren Donovan Torres (Stephanie), Jeremiah Torres, Olivia Hernandez, Carolina Torres, Nadalie Garcia, Clarissa Torres, Montana Torres, Jazyln Elizondo, and Robert Elizondo, stepchildren Melody Garcia, Ruben Garcia and Rodney Garcia.
Honoring his wishes, no memorial or funeral services will be held. Friends and family are encouraged to share their memories and sign the guest book online.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels, Pearsall.
