Nita Rebekah “Becky” Weed, 66, of Dilley, Tx lost her battle with cancer on Sunday, December 1, 2019 in Grafton, ND where she spent the last year of her life.

Becky Weed was born in Uvalde, Texas to Eunice Damron and Clarence “Jack” Oldham November 28, 1953. She was raised in Pearsall, Tx where she also got her high school diploma at Pearsall High School.

Becky had an amazing relationship with the Lord. She kept her notes, and made sure to be at every church service. She did so many things during her life from hiking the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee to raising livestock and farming watermelons. Becky was a very happy

woman, and she always treated folks like family and with being so comical, she always had everyone laughing along with her. She loved her grandson, Avery, so dearly and spoke of him often. Becky loved to listen to George Strait and Elvis Presley, and she always sung along to every tune.

Becky is preceded in death by her husband Carl Avery Weed, mother Eunice Inez Oldham, father Clarence “Jack” Oldham, sister LindaBeth Vaughan, sister Alice Pate, and first husband James Dodson Brake Jr. She is survived by her daughter Kari Rebekah Weed, grandson Samuel Avery Vincent Ramirez, neice Amybeth Thomason and neice Lucy Schultz.

A memorial service will be held at 13848 S, I-35 at the Christian Faith Center in Dilley, Tx on December 29, 2019 at 3 pm. Please wear bright colors to celebrate this colorful woman of God.
